A new title match has been added to tomorrow night’s May 24 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Tampa, Florida.
The show will now feature a total of five matches, a change from the usual four that we’ve seen so far since SNME’s return.
The new match announced on tonight’s episode of SmackDown will see Zelina Vega defend the WWE Women’s United States Championship against Chelsea Green.
Green became the first ever Women’s US Champion at the December 14, 2024 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, defeating Michin in the tournament final.
She held the title up to the April 25 edition of SmackDown, where she lost it to Vega.
Vega vs Green will be the only women’s match of the five taking place on Saturday night.
The other matches include Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena vs R-Truth in a non-title match, and a steel cage match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest.
Also, Jey Uso defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul, and Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker team up against CM Punk & Sami Zayn.
