Ahead of tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE was heavily advertising a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match, pitting champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler against Natalya and Tamina.
On tonight’s episode, Tamina pinned Nia Jax in that match, winning her and Natalya the Women’s Tag Team Championship for the first time.
This is Tamina’s first ever championship reign in WWE since debuting back in 2010.
