WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has announced the launch of a new Championship coming next month.
WWE recently struck a new deal with Twitter/X for WWE Speed, which features three minute matches exclusively on the social media platform.
The show has exclusively featured male stars facing off in tournament matches, with the winner earning a shot at the Speed Championship.
Andrade currently reigns as the Speed Champion, defeating inaugural champion Ricochet for the gold ahead of his departure from the company.
Now, WWE Speed will no longer be exclusive to the men’s roster, as Triple H took to Twitter today, announcing the launch of the Speed Women’s Championship Tournament, beginning next month.
He wrote:
Time to turn #WWESpeed up another notch…

We’ll keep you posted with any further details on who’ll be involved in the tournament and any other news as it emerges.
Speed generally airs every Wednesday at 12pm ET.
