The new commentary team for a brand new WWE show has been revealed ahead of the premiere episode in a few days’ time.
At 8pm ET on Wednesday, March 5, the first episode of WWE Evolve will air on Tubi in the US, and on YouTube internationally.
The show will feature a combination of WWE ID prospects, Performance Center trainees and current NXT talents.
Today, Shawn Michaels, the head of NXT, announced that Peter Rosenberg would be one of the announcers for the show.
For a number of years now, Rosenberg has been appearing on WWE programming as a host/presenter/panelist.
Joining Rosenberg will be NXT’s Robert Stone, as Stone revealed in an interview with PWInsider today.
Stone was formerly known as Robbie E in TNA Wrestling and joined WWE as a manager in NXT a few years ago, having most notably managed Chelsea Green and, more recently, Von Wagner during the NXT 2.0 era.
After Wagner’s WWE departure, Stone moved into a role as an one of two assistants for NXT General Manager Ava, alongside Stevie Turner.
