On tonight’s WWE SummerSlam 2024 pre-show, there was an announcement regarding some upcoming shifts in broadcast teams.
On the show, a video package aired that introduced the newest member of the WWE broadcast team, Joe Tessitore.
Michael Cole then introduced Tessitore, and confirmed that he’ll be starting with WWE on the September 2 episode of Raw.
Cole himself will be moving over to SmackDown at that point.
It wasn’t confirmed who their partners will be.
Currently, Michael Cole is partnered by Pat McAfee on Raw, while the SmackDown team is Corey Graves and Wade Barrett.
However, PWInsider reports that Cole and McAfee will be the Raw announce team again when the show debuts on Netflix in January 2025.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates as they emerge in the coming weeks ahead of the changes.
