New WWE Departure Update

New WWE Departure Update WWE

There has been an update on the latest WWE departure as a star revealed earlier on social media that he is now a free agent.

Earlier, WWE NXT star Damon Kemp tweeted:

“As of today I am no longer under contract with WWE. Forever grateful for the people I met and the experiences I’ve had. For business inquiries –”

Now, additional details explain that the departure was related to Kemp’s contract expiring rather than a release.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Kemp’s departure was not part of “a round of cuts” and rather Kemp was told his contract would not be renewed.

This has been the case with multiple talents in recent times for departures from both NXT and the main roster.

In NXT, Kemp was member of the No Quarter Catch Crew faction with Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne and recent addition Tavion Heights.

He’s also the real-life brother of Gable Steveson, who was let go from WWE a few months ago.

Kemp, real name Bobby Steveson, had been with WWE since he signed in 2021.
