New WWE Faction Name Confirmed

New WWE Faction Name Confirmed WWE

The name for a new WWE faction that has emerged on television over the past few weeks now looks to be confirmed.

Recent weeks on NXT TV have seen the formation of a group of talents who are second or multi generational in the pro-wrestling business.

As things stand, the members are Lexis King who’s the son of Brian Pillman, Arianna Grace who’s the daughter of Santino Marella, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo who qualifies as an in-law since he’s the boyfriend of Grace, William Regal’s son Charlie Dempsey, and Fit Finlay’s son Uriah Connors.

Throughout their formation, members of the group have often stated that success in WWE and NXT is their “birthright” – a term that isn’t being used by accident.

WWE has filed to trademark Birthright, which looks to be the official name of the faction.

The description for the trademark filing is as follows:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

As far as other potential members of the group, Brooks Jensen is someone currently on the NXT roster who would qualify as he’s the son of former WWE star Bull Buchanan, and Jensen did have a run teaming with Lexis King at NXT live events in recent months.

Also rumored as a potential member is David Finlay – brother of Uriah Connors and another son of Fit Finlay – following his departure from NJPW.

Elijah Holyfield could be a potential fit too as the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield, so although it’s not directly pro-wrestling, he’s second generation in combat sports. Evander actually made an appearance in WWE in 2007 when he had a “boxing match” against Matt Hardy at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
