New WWE Faction Name Confirmed

The name of the mysterious new faction that debuted back at WWE Vengeance Day has been officially revealed.

Ahead of the NXT Vengeance Day special event, teases took place for the arrival of a new group, which ended up consisting of Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox.

The group attacked both NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom and their challengers Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura following their title match on the show, before returning later in the show, taking out NXT Champion Oba Femi.

Since Vengeance Day, the group have continued to cause chaos on NXT, including tonight, where they attacked Tony D’Angelo backstage.

Later in the night, we heard from the group for the first time, where they officially announced their mission statement, as well as their name; Darkstate.

Dion Lennox said:

“Everybody wanna know what we’ve got to say, everybody wanna know what we’re all about. So I’ll tell you like this; we heard that here in NXT, you’ve got to earn your spot, and that makes us sick, the whole ‘we are NXT’ bull. Nah, waiting around got us nowhere.”

Cutler James then followed, saying:

“The four of us aren’t built to sit on the sidelines. What you see here? Four game changers. Four difference makers.”

Osiris Griffin added:

“We saw the landscape of NXT, and that don’t work for us. We’re restructuring. Remodelling. Reshaping it the way we want it.”

Finally, Saquon Shugars said:

“I’ll make it real, real simple for y’all, when Darkstate strike, ain’t nobody safe, and the chaos is finna continue. We made our statement to- did we make our statement tonight? I feel like they don’t get it yet…”

Darkstate reappeared at the end of the show, where they appeared in the crowd during a brawl between Trick Williams, Oba Femi and Je’von Evans.
