The latest WWE ID signing has been officially confirmed at Northern Crown Wrestling’s November 17 event.
Since the WWE Independent Development program was first announced on October 29, the company have been incredibly busy recruiting talent from shows all over the United States.
On Friday (November 15), the 14th WWE ID signing was confirmed to be 24-year-old Ricky Smokes, who received his contract at Chaotic Wrestling’s Breaking Point event in Andover, MA.
At Northern Crown Wrestling’s event in Toronto on Sunday, November 17 we learned the identity of WWE ID signing number 15, who also receives the honor of being the first Canadian to be signed to the program.
That distinction goes to Zoe Sager, who spoke with the crowd at the event after being given her WWE ID contract (see below).
Sager made her wrestling debut in 2018, having been trained by former WWE star Lance Storm and Michael Richard Blais.
In her six years as an active competitor she has competed for Love Pro Wrestling, Real Canadian Wrestling among others. Sager would also make a sole appearance for AEW in March 2023, facing Emi Sakura on Dark Elevation.
We will continue to provide updates on future WWE ID signings as they happen.
