New WWE Mixed Tag Team Update

The latest update has emerged on a new WWE mixed tag team as they had their first match on tonight’s episode of NXT.

Over the past few weeks, things have been heating up between Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis and Karmen Petrovic.

What started as a one-way romantic interest from Adonis has been somewhat reciprocated lately, and even resulted in Petrovic lashing out at her friend Brinley Reece, who was advising Petrovic against getting to know Adonis.

This led to a mixed tag match on tonight’s show as Adonis and Petrovic teamed up against Reece and Dion Lennox.

In the locker room before the match, they both awkwardly complimented each others looks before agreeing they needed to concentrate on their opponents.

Adonis and Petrovic went back and forth with multiple consecutive tags at the start of the match as they couldn’t get on the same page as to who would kick things off.

The match did finally get underway and featured a couple of close calls as Lennox almost knocked Petrovic off the apron, and Reece nearly did the same to Adonis.

After Reece stopped and Adonis asked her for a kiss on the cheek, he instead got a slap, but Petrovic didn’t take kindly to it and nailed Reece with a big kick to score the win.

Adonis and Petrovic then once again awkwardly exchanged glances as they celebrated in the ring.

Later in the show, just as Petrovic was telling Adonis how well things were going, Nikkita Lyons walked by and saying she was still waiting for a “text back” from Adonis.

This resulted in Petrovic storming off as things between her and Adonis are now questionable once again.
