Another new WWE NXT signing has now been officially confirmed following a recent series of main roster call ups.
Over the past few weeks, a number of WWE NXT stars have officially graduated from NXT to either Raw or SmackDown, including Je’von Evans, Trick Williams and Jordynne Grace.
In the absence of many of the top stars of the brand, some faces from WWE Evolve and the WWE ID program have been called up to join the NXT roster as opportunities arise for new talent.
Last week, it was confirmed that WWE Evolve Men’s Champion Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of Swipe Right, Keanu Carver and Eli Knight had all officially signed with the NXT brand.
Ahead of tonight’s show, Shawn Michaels shared a video, where he confirmed that WWE ID’s Sean Legacy has also officially joined the roster.
Legacy will face off with Eli Knight on tonight’s episode of NXT, with the winner joining the six-man Ladder match on the February 3 episode of the show to crown a new NXT Champion after Oba Femi vacated the title.
Ricky Saints will feature in the match, as will the winner of the other qualifier on tonight’s show between Shiloh Hill and Josh Briggs.
