A new WWE premium live event location has seemingly been confirmed in a new interview with a major publication.
WWE celebrity guest Bad Bunny may have just let a future premium live event location slip in a new interview with Rolling Stone.
In the interview with Rolling Stone, Bad Bunny shared his thoughts on what it was like to be able to bring a premium live event to Puerto Rico – where Backlash took place in May 2023 and he picked up a win against Damian Priest.
Potentially dropping news about a future location for Backlash, Bad Bunny said:
“What can I tell you? It was nice. We were there until we could bring WWE to Puerto Rico. And man, I actually feel like it was good for them and for everyone, because I saw that last year Backlash was in France, now it’s going to Mexico. They saw that it worked.”
Although Bad Bunny noted that Backlash would be taking place in Mexico, he did not note which year and WWE has yet to confirm the location for the 2025 edition of the premium live event.
We will keep you updated on any breaking news regarding the location for Backlash 2025, set to occur after WrestleMania 41.
