Ric Flair’s brief backstage cameo on Raw was thankfully not the only thing he was there for last night, as reports have surfaced courtesy of Wrestling Inc that Naitch was also filming for an upcoming WWE Network documentary feature on him.
Several of the legendary figures in attendance, including Flair’s great rivals Ricky Steamboat, Sting and Shawn Michaels, plus several members of the current roster, also sat down in front of the WWE cameras to share their stories and thoughts on the Nature Boy.
Little else is known about the documentary at this point but it is fairly safe to assume that it is another special similar to those produced for Mark Henry and Nigel McGuinness recently, both of which were very well received.
For those who missed Raw, the entire show built to a special celebration for Flair’s 70th birthday only it never happened because the returning Batista jumped Naitch backstage and left him needing medical attention.
Flair has taken to social media today to comment on the attack, warning Batista to be careful whose party he crashes.
I Want To Thank @WWE For Throwing Such A Wonderful Birthday Celebration With Some Of My Closest Friends. As For @DaveBautista… Be Careful Whose Party You Crash, Big Man! #WOOOOO pic.twitter.com/23iSS8PYnR

Perhaps it is not out of the question that Flair will accompany Triple H to the ring for his inevitable match with Batista at WrestleMania 35, just as he used to during the glory days of Evolution.
