New Role For WWE Star Revealed

Something of a new role has been revealed for a WWE star as they appear to be in backstage competition for a General Manager’s approval.

There looks to be a battle to see who can be the best assistant to NXT General Manager Ava.

In a backstage segment on tonight’s show, Stevie Turner and Robert Stone were shown competing for the attention of Ava, seemingly hoping to impress her with their helpfulness.

Stone has been acting as an assistant of sorts to Ava for a few weeks now, but Turner argued that she’s actually been a big help to Ava as well, feeding back to her with what’s going on in the locker room.

This prompted Stone to call Turner a “nark” and a “snitch” as they now seem to be in competition to be the best assistant.

Turner hadn’t been featured prominently on NXT TV for a number of months until her recent match against TNA’s Jordynne Grace, and this now looks to be the plan to get her on TV more often.

Already on tonight’s WWE NXT, a couple of new championship matches have been added to NXT Heatwave next weekend.

Wes Lee will challenge Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship, while Axiom and Nathan Frazer defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against Andre Chase and Duke Hudson.
