With WWE Wrestlepalooza taking place this weekend, ESPN is debuting a new slate of shows surrounding the event.
Wrestlepalooza is the first WWE premium live event of the ESPN partnership, taking place on Saturday, September 20.
WWE has announced its usual two-hour pre-show and live post-show for before and after the PLE itself, but ESPN has more programming set up as well.
Firstly is the ‘ESPN Wrestlepalooza Special’ airing the day before the PLE, which, as reported by Variety, will be hosted by Peter Rosenberg.
Rosenberg has been a regular panelist on WWE pre and post shows for a number of years now, and is also the lead announcer of Evolve.
Variety also notes that Tyrese Haliburton will be on the show as an analyst, having made numerous appearances for WWE over the past couple of years.
Later that night, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and Brad Gilmore will host an ESPN Radio show titled ‘Countdown to Wrestlepalooza’, per Sports Business Journal.
Also, on the afternoon of Wrestlepalooza, ESPN will air a ‘Road To’ show, which will be hosted by O’Shea Jackson Jr and TJ Jefferson.
Some WWE personalities and talents are expected to appear on the ‘Special’ and ‘Road To’ shows as well.
WWE’s usual two-hour pre-show for the PLE will be after the ‘Road To’ show.
