A new WWE signing has now officially been confirmed after around a year of speculation of an upcoming deal.
With the ongoing partnership between WWE and TNA, we have seen many TNA stars make appearances on NXT television over the past year.
Of all the names to appear on NXT television, arguably the most popular is Joe Hendry, who has made many appearances on the show since he first showed up in the Summer of 2024, including an upcoming AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship match with Thea Hail against Chelsea Green and Ethan Page.
With Hendry making many appearances on WWE television, including at WrestleMania 41, where he answered Randy Orton’s open challenge on the show, many had speculated that Hendry would officially be signing with WWE once his deal expired.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), Joe Hendry has now officially signed with WWE.
Many have also speculated that Hendry may make an appearance in the John Cena Last Time Is Now Tournament as a mystery opponent for either LA Knight or Solo Sikoa in the first round.
