A new signing to the WWE SmackDown brand has been confirmed during today’s January 9 episode of the show in Berlin, Germany.
The past few weeks have seen a number of NXT stars join the main roster including the likes of Je’Von Evans, Oba Femi and Trick Williams.
Another name confirmed to be on the up from the developmental brand is Jordynne Grace.
Grace appeared on WWE SmackDown today in a backstage meeting with Nick Aldis where it was confirmed that Grace has joined the SmackDown roster.
Grace made her WWE debut in the 2024 Royal Rumble when she was still with TNA and the TNA Knockouts World Champion at the time.
She then continued making appearances in NXT while under contract in TNA before officially signing with WWE at the start of 2025.
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, she’ll face Alba Fyre in a match that has yet to take place as of this writing with the show still in progress.
UPDATE: It was Grace who picked up the win against Fyre despite Chelsea Green’s attempts to interfere at ringside. After the match, Grace was confronted by WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.
