It appears a new WWE tag team pairing is already breaking up just a few short weeks into their partnership.
Post-WrestleMania season tends to play host to some NXT call-ups, and we’ve seen integration of some NXT talents on both Raw and SmackDown in recent weeks.
On SmackDown, Fraxiom have officially been called up, while on Raw, the duo of Giulia and Roxanne Perez have repeatedly been making appearances, but have still been billed as NXT talents.
Giulia and Perez, who hadn’t teamed up in NXT previously, have appeared on Raw together pretty much every week since Mania, targeting IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.
Tonight, things culminated in a tag match that saw SKY and Ripley score the win against Giulia and Perez.
Via a post-show backstage segment posted online by WWE, it appears that the Giulia/Perez partnership may be over before it even really got going.
After their loss, Perez said:
“We came here to make a statement, we came here to make history, and that’s not what we did tonight. That’s not what we did. We need to refocus, we need to ask for a rematch, we need to talk to Adam Pearce, and then, we need to…”
At that point, Giulia cut her off and said:
“There is no ‘we’.”
She then gave Perez a look of disgust and walked away.
Both Perez and Giulia are still listed on the NXT roster, not the Raw roster, on WWE’s website as of this writing.
It looks like the pairing of Roxanne Perez and Giulia may have been short lived
