Tonight’s WWE Raw saw the latest developments in the potential formation of a new tag team that’s been teased recently.
A rematch between Penta and Pete Dunne took place on tonight’s February 17 episode, with Penta having picked up the win in their match a few weeks ago.
Another man Penta has a victory over since his WWE debut is Ludwig Kaiser.
However, after Penta’s win over Kaiser a couple of weeks ago, Dunne came out to interrupt a post-match interview, allowing Kaiser to attack Penta from behind.
While both Dunne and Kaiser clearly shared a feeling of disdain towards Penta, they did both make sure to each other that they weren’t necessarily there to do each other any favors either – they just happened to cross paths because they both wanted to get at Penta.
Tonight, Kaiser came out to ringside during the Dunne vs Penta match, regularly applauding Dunne when he was on top.
However, Kaiser at one point got onto the apron, which distracted Dunne and ultimately caused him to lose the match.
With Dunne’s attention diverted, Penta shoved him into Kaiser and then nailed the Penta Driver for the win.
After the match, Kaiser attempted a post-match attack on Penta, but then Dunne and Kaiser got into it on the outside.
Penta then landed a big dive to the outside, taking both of them out.
So ultimately, Kaiser and Dunne still aren’t fully on the same page, but still share an issue with Penta.
