New WWE Tag Team Formed

New WWE Tag Team Formed WWE

A new WWE tag team has been formed after one talent recently returned to TV following a nine month absence.

Last night’s June 6 episode of NXT was main evented by the women’s battle royal to determine the first challenger for NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton after she won the title at Battleground.

Earlier in the show, Blair Davenport – who a week earlier had revealed herself to be the mystery attacker of the women’s division after the aforementioned lengthy hiatus – had her first match back with a win over Dani Palmer.

That meant Davenport wasn’t in the battle royal (which was won by Thea Hail), but it didn’t stop her from showing up at ringside and getting involved, brawling with Roxanne Perez at ringside.

While Perez had the upper hand, Davenport got some help in the form of Tatum Paxley, who actually sacrificed her spot in the battle royal to make sure Davenport didn’t get beaten up.

Davenport and Paxley then both continued to attack Perez and left ringside together.

So, out of nowhere really, we’ve got a new duo of Blair Davenport and Tatum Paxley to seemingly add to the NXT women’s division.

Paxley had pretty much just been floating around as a heel for the last few months after splitting from Ivy Nile and Diamond Mine.

As for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, that title is still held by Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn who were drafted to SmackDown, and there’s still been no explanation what’s actually going to happen with it.
