New WWE Tag Team Debuts

A tag team made their debut on tonight’s April 8 episode of WWE NXT, the penultimate episode before Stand & Deliver.

Last week’s NXT saw the first appearance from the show from the Swipe Right tag team made up of Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes.

Baylor and Smokes are WWE ID prospects who have been featured on the first few episodes of WWE Evolve.

Last week, they had a backstage confrontation with NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom – Nathan Frazer and Axiom – which set up a match for tonight.

In non-title action, it was Fraxiom who picked up the win, with Frazer pinning Smokes.

Fraxiom have both been in separate singles action on main roster TV recently, with Axiom having a match against GUNTHER in Axiom’s home country of Spain, and Frazer facing Rey Fenix in Fenix’s WWE debut.

A title defense for Fraxiom has yet to be announced for Stand & Deliver, although there has been a storyline for the past few weeks of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger trying to climb up the ranks of the tag team division.
