An ever-consistent news source in the world of pro wrestling title belts, BeltFanDan has taken to Twitter to reveal some interesting news regarding the current WWE Tag Team Championships.
According to Dan, “newly designed WWE Tag Team belts are done and are in NY/NJ for WrestleMania.”
As I reported a few months back, newly designed WWE tag team belts ARE done and ARE in NY/NJ for WrestleMania. I have not been told if they will be debuted this weekend, but they are on site. Millican made, new designs, removable team sideplates.

Although he didn’t specify which tag titles were getting an upgrade in the initial tweet, Dan did provide more detail after a fan asked whether it was for “both brands?”
I'm being told Smackdown is same as current with removable team sideplate modification. Raw tags are a new design.
I have not seen them, just reporting from a long time, trusted source.

As it stands, the Raw Tag Team Championships are getting a fresh new look, just like the Revival wanted. The SmackDown Titles, on the other hand, are remaining the same but now with removable side-plates like the main singles titles have.
I don’t know about you but I miss the days when we had WWE and World Tag Team Championships that looked completely different. With any luck, we’ll see these shiny new straps on Sunday.
