Some news has come to light regarding the non-compete clauses for recently released WWE stars Lars Sullivan and Steve Cutler.
As per Fightful Select, Cutler is under the standard WWE 90-day non-compete clause, which means he’ll be able to work elsewhere at the start of May.
Cutler was released for disciplinary reasons related to a New Year’s Eve party and catching COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Fightful hadn’t heard about a Sullivan release clause, but Dave Meltzer said on a recent Wrestling Observer Radio that he does have one.
However, because of the unique nature of the release, Meltzer wasn’t sure if it would be the standard 90-day clause or something different.
Sullivan informed the company he was done with wrestling due to mental health struggles and was let go in January.
