Some more news has come to light regarding WWE’s plans for a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns that has been talked about for months.
Recent reports claimed that the match wasn’t likely to take place at WrestleMania 38, and was more likely for WrestleMania 39.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer clarified that nothing is set in stone, and ultimately, the match will happen “if, when and where” The Rock wants it to.
The Rock’s schedule is so busy and always evolving, that really it’s impossible to know things like this so far in advance.
WrestleMania 38 was the original idea, but WrestleMania 39 is in Los Angeles so the ‘Hollywood’ theme may fit a Rock return better.
Either way, it sounds like we’re just going to have to be patient and wait until nearer the time when we know how many millions of projects The Rock is working on.
