The last NXT Takeover took place the week prior to WrestleMania with their Stand & Deliver event. Since then there have been no details about the next major event for NXT.
Now, that is no longer the case following a recent report from Fightful Select (subscription required). Their report states that NXT Takeover: In Your House will be the next major event for the brand. They also note that the show is internally scheduled for June 13.
Last year’s In Your House event took place on June 7 and was the first time the name had been used in over 20 years. The show featured a main event of Io Shirai winning the NXT Women’s Championship in a Triple Threat match with Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair.
While no matches have been officially announced for this year’s show, several title matches are already being set up on television. NXT Champion Karrion Kross has several challengers lined up, including Finn Balor, Kyle O’Reilly, and Pete Dunne.
The Cruiserweight, Women’s, and North American Championships are all set to be defended in the coming weeks. Once those matches have happened we will likely have a better understanding of the card for NXT Takeover: In Your House.
