It has now been confirmed that next week’s episode of Raw will emanate from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in front of no crowd.
The show was originally set for Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The tickets for that show will now instead be honoured and valid for an episode of Friday Night SmackDown on July 31.
Some big names will be appearing on Raw next week, one of those being Randy Orton, who will respond to the WrestleMania challenge laid out by Edge on last night’s show, which was asking Orton for a Last Man Standing match.
Two ‘Mania opponents will also be there, as WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and his challenger, Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre, will also be making appearances.
In terms of how last night’s show was presented, there was just one short match and a small handful of in-ring interview segments.
The rest of the time was filled by replays, inluding the entire men’s Royal Rumble match being shown. While some may not have been happy with the lack of live action, it is more than understandable given the circumstances.
