The next celebrity crossover in WWE may have been revealed as Mario Lopez has said the company wants to bring him in.
Speaking on his ‘On With Mario Lopez‘ show with guest Jerry Lawler, Lopez implied that WWE not only wants him to appear, but also to wrestle.
He said:
“Jerry, they’re trying to get me to do something in the ring. For my kids, I think I wanna do it, get in there as a storyline.
“I’m almost gonna be 48 – I’m in pretty good shape though, and athletic. Any suggestions, any advice I need to know when I get in there? By the way, I grew up wrestling too!”
Lawler encouraged Lopez to do it and referenced the success of Bad Bunny at WrestleMania as an example of how well it can go.
Lopez has been in the spotlight for all kinds of things, from hosting the USA X-Factor, to competing on Dancing With The Stars, and playing AC Slater in Saved By The Bell.
