A former NFL star’s nephew has attended the WWE tryout in Nashville ahead of SummerSlam weekend.
Per TMZ Sports, the nephew of former two-time Superbowl Champion Troy Polamalu, Talati Polamalu is trying out for WWE.
Talati, who is a senior offensive linemen at Georgetown University, attended the WWE tryouts in Nashville during SummerSlam week.
Talati stated that he wants to be a role model for overweight kids, saying:
“Look at me. You can do this. You can do whatever you want, you just got to put the work in.”
Talati’s uncle Troy Polamalu is an NFL Hall of Fame safety who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2003 to 2014. Talati also has ties to WWE star Tamina Snuka, who is his aunt.
The WWE tryout had an all-star panel, which included new Head of Creative and EVP of Talent Relations Triple H, former WWE Champion Big E and Paul Heyman.
