Nia Jax Addresses WWE TV Absence

Nia Jax Addresses WWE TV Absence WWE

With over a month passing since her last appearance, Nia Jax has addressed her recent absence from WWE television.

After what was perhaps the best year of her WWE career in 2024 – winning both the Queen of the Ring tournament and WWE Women’s Championship – 2025 has not seen Nia Jax taste as much success, at least thus far.

After dropping her championship to Tiffany Stratton on the first SmackDown of the year (January 3), Jax saw attempts to both reclaim her title, as well as Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship fall flat.

Jax and tag team partner Candice LeRae would then lose to Stratton and Trish Stratus at WWE Elimination Chamber on March 1, which was also the last time we saw either stars compete on television.

On April 6, Nia Jax took to Twitter to shut down a rumor regarding her absence from TV, replying to a comment that read:

is Nia Jax injured or something?

To which Jax responded:

Nope she’s not, i asked her

This isn’t the first time that Jax has shut down rumors of a potential injury, having also done so earlier this week following a report which stated that she wasn’t cleared to return.

It’s unclear if/how Jax and LeRae will factor into WWE’s plans ahead of WrestleMania 41 in two weeks time, but we will provide further updates on their statuses if they become available.
