This past Sunday, Nia Jax made a shock entrance in the Men’s Royal Rumble match by attacking R-Truth, the number 30 entrant. Much to the delight of the crowd in attendance and many people around the world, Jax then entered the Rumble and eliminated Mustafa Ali before being overpowered by the combined efforts of Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton. There’s apparently one person however that wasn’t overly happy about this whole situation.
On the latest episode of Dinner With The King, Jerry Lawler revealed that R-Truth had some real heat with Jax over her attack on him at the Rumble.
“Her first move – and this got real heat, for real – she blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face-first into that wall. He was hot, real hot. He was real hot, let me tell you, they were having to hold him back back there. She made it look good, it was very impressive.”

Rajah.com reported further on this story, stating that R-Truth had to be held back by agents including ‘Road Dogg’ Brian James. The current US Champion also claimed that Nia had hurt his ankle and face from her attack.
It’s worth noting that wwe.com have since reported on the story, posting footage of R-Truth looking for Jax, however the scene described in reports was not present in this footage. As such, this may have all been a work, or could be partially legitimate.
If this is true, this wouldn’t be the first time Jax has been a little overly-handsy. Alexa Bliss suffered multiple concussions after a house show match with Jax in October which she has only just returned to the ring from, and there was of course the now-famous case of the ‘Facebreaker’ against Becky Lynch.
