Nia Jax Reflects On WWE Women’s Championship Win At SummerSlam

Following her first title win since return, Nia Jax has reflected on her WWE Women’s Championship win at SummerSlam 2024.

At WWE SummerSlam, Nia Jax defeated Bayley to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

This marked Jax’s first title win since returning to the company in September 2023.

During the SummerSlam post show press conference, Nia Jax discussed her WWE Women’s Championship win. Reflecting on the win coming less than a year after her return, she said:

“It’s pretty incredible because a year ago, it was a different position for me.”

“But I’m extremely grateful for Triple H for taking a chance on me, not just a year ago, but 10 years ago when he hired me here. So it’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

Elsewhere during the post show, Nia Jax revealed that Vince McMahon wanted her to be part of the first women’s match in Saudi Arabia, which you can read at this link.
