Here’s what happened when former WWE star Nic Nemeth challenged for one of his previous company’s championships this week on TNA Wrestling TV.
As was previously announced, Nic Nemeth and his brother Ryan Nemeth were set to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championship on Thursday’s (February 6) TNA iMPACT episode.
This match ultimately headlined the show, with Nic and Ryan Nemeth facing off against Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the gold.
Fraxiom was ultimately victorious, pinning Ryan Nemeth following some miscommunication between the Nemeth brothers.

Nic Nemeth – who wrestled for WWE as Dolph Ziggler from 2004 to 2023 – was attempting to win the second NXT title of his career in this bout, with the former WWE star holding the main NXT Championship for just under a month in 2022.
