After WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce wouldn’t rule out an in-ring return to take on SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, Aldis responded.
Nick Aldis wrote on Twitter:
“After much deliberation I have decided to respond to this post by my Raw counterpart.
“We both enjoyed a decorated tenure in our careers before WWE; there is no doubt you & I respect the legacy and tradition of our industry. So you’re asking if I would step in the ring with you?…
“Time will tell.”
Aldis is responding to a video posted on social media yesterday where Adam Pearce answered a fan’s question about returning to in-ring action to take on SmackDown GM, Nick Aldis.
Pearce reiterated comments he made last month on a podcast where he explained that he wouldn’t rule out an in-ring return to take on Aldis.
Nick Aldis remains General Manager on WWE SmackDown, most recently notably brokering a match to feature Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teaming together at WWE Bad Blood to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Adam Pearce for his part continues to attempt to contain the Raw roster, recently announcing a “massive fine” for one star.
