Nick Aldis’ next move has been revealed after he became a free agent this past January upon leaving the NWA.
Many believed Aldis may have landed in WWE or AEW, but that doesn’t look to be the case.
Aldis made his return to IMPACT Wrestling at the Rebellion pay-per-view last night (April 17), and looks to have set up a future match with new world champion Steve Maclin (Steve Cutler).
Aldis was on commentary for the world championship match between Maclin and Kushida, which was to crown a new champion after Josh Alexander had to relinquish the title due to injury.
Maclin won that match, but attacked IMPACT executive Scott D’Amore when he was presenting the belt, so Aldis then confronted Maclin.
Aldis had been known as Brutus Magnus, and later just Magnus, during his previous time in TNA/IMPACT from 2009 to 2015.
