It appears that Nick Jackson could be struggling with an injury heading into AEW Full Gear this coming Saturday (November 13).
On today’s episode of Being The Elite, footage was shown of Jackson icing up his heel heading to St Louis for this past Friday’s Rampage after Luchasaurus threw him off the stage on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
Nick Jackson said there was a chance the injury – possibly a deep bone bruise – could keep him off Full Gear and he had to get it checked out.
Later in the episode, it was revealed that Jackson is indeed cleared for Saturday, but his brother Matt made sure to mention that if you see Nick selling his ankle during the match, it’s probably because he’s actually hurt.
The match on Saturday is the SuperKliq (the Young Bucks and Adam Cole) against Christian Cage, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Hopefully Nick doesn’t do too many flips off too many high things and risk doing any further damage, but I certainly wouldn’t bank on that.
