
An update has emerged on changes backstage with the production department following Vince McMahon’s retirement.
With Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan leading the company as co-CEOs, and Triple H in charge of creative, some aspects of the WWE product have noticeably changed.
While WWE’s production does feel somewhat different this side of the screen. Per PWInsider, the change to this department backstage has been described as ‘massively night and day’.
The report noted that with the new WWE regime, Mondays and Fridays are no longer seen as the worst days of the job. While the days are reportedly still long, it was indicated that there has been a morale boost throughout the department, with the announcers, camera crew, producers and directors extremely happy.
One source reportedly noted to PWInsider that they’re ‘allowed to feel like it’s fun to work here.’
The report also revealed that several individuals who were looking to leave within the last few months have reconsidered that decision, with backstage names hoping the current ‘honeymoon feeling’ lasts.
