Nikki A.S.H Shares Backstage Reaction To Her Title Victory

The first episode of WWE Raw back in front of live fans ended with a feel good moment, when Women’s Money In The Bank winner Nikki A.S.H cashed in her briefcase, pinning Charlotte Flair to capture her first Raw Women’s Championship.

The new champion appeared on this week’s episode of WWE’s The Bump, Nikki shared the story of the backstage reaction to her championship victory, noting that everyone met her in Gorilla and hoisted her in the air.

Nikki said:

“I got to the back and the whole locker room was in Gorilla and they hoisted me up and bounced me around. We actually have the video somewhere. It was such an amazing moment. My peers, my family, I spend more time with these women than I do my actual family. They are like family to me. Sarah Schieber and Shane (Helms) were the first two (to greet me),”

Many WWE stars have expressed how beloved Nikki is backstage in the days since her big victory, with new SmackDown star Shotzi (Blackheart) sharing a story of her buying pizza for the NXT roster when they were working as extras last year in the crowd.

This feeling even goes right to the top, as it was reported that the reason Nikki won Money In The Bank is because Vince McMahon is high on the character and Nikki’s creativity.
