WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has explained why she didn’t watch John Cena in the main event of SummerSlam this past Saturday.
Bella had clearly watched some of the show as she was seemingly furious about the booking of Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair, and said it soured the show for her and she didn’t even have a favorite moment from the entire show.
Speaking with Extra, she admitted that she didn’t watch her ex-fiancé Cena main event the show against Roman Reigns, saying:
“You know, I actually have to say when you’re in Vegas, the tables took me away. I was too busy playing roulette, and I was winning big. So I missed it.”
SummerSlam was Cena’s first live match (excluding dark matches/house shows) since January 2019.
There has been a lot of speculation that WWE is planning to bring back Nikki Bella and her twin sister Brie for another run at some point, but that obviously hasn’t played out as of yet.
