Ring of Honor’s War of the Worlds tour brings together the best of ROH and NJPW. Four tour stops will be made for this event, with shows in:
- May 9th in Lowell, Massachusetts
- May 11th in Toronto, Ontario
- May 12th in Royal Oak, Michigan
- May 13th in Chicago, Illinois
It’s a chance for fans to see all of their favorite ROH wrestlers, but also some of their NJPW favorites live and in person.
‘Switchblade’ Jay White will be one of those NJPW wrestlers making an appearance on the tour. ROHwrestling.com reports:
“(Jay) White returns to Ring of Honor as part of the War of the Worlds Tour for TWO NIGHTS ONLY – Wednesday May 9 in Lowell and Friday May 11 in Toronto.”
Tuesday, April 24th 2018 marked a special day for Jay White fans. In a live event at Korakuen Hall, at Road to WRESTLING DONTAKU 2018, White successfully defended his IWGP United States Championship against David Finlay in the main event of the evening. With that successful title defense, ROH Tweeted:
BREAKING: After successfully defending his IWGP US Championship, ROH and NJPW officials have confirmed that “Switchblade” @JayWhiteNZ will defend his title at #ROHWOTW: Toronto, which will stream live for #HonorClub on Fri 5/11! White’s challenger will be announced imminently. pic.twitter.com/APySp3cPfW
