NJPW Championship Matches Set For Wrestling Dontaku Tour

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the cards for its their upcoming Wrestling Dontaku tour. Included in these cards are six championship matches, set to be held across four shows.

These four shows will be Sengoku Lord on April 20th, Wrestling Hi No Kuni on April 29th, Wrestling Dontaku Night One on May 3rd, and Wrestling Dontaku Night Two on May 4th.

Four of these championship matches will be the first defences of the respective champions. As G1 Supercard featured four New Japan titles changing hands. Kazuchika Okada, Kota Ibushi, Dragon Lee, and Jeff Cobb will all make their first title defences on this tour.

Additionally, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Hiroyoshi Tenzan will both miss this tour due to injury. Tanahashi is currently dealing with a left elbow injury while Tenzan is suffering from a knee injury.

Sengoku Lord (April 20th)
