New Japan Pro-Wrestling has confirmed that Clark Connors will miss upcoming events due to an injury.
Connors is now on the shelf with a herniated disc. Changes have been made to his scheduled matches at the June 24 NJPW STRONG taping and the July 30 Music City Mayhem event.
NJPW announced the following changes:
NJPW STRONG Taping: High Alert July 24
- Clark Connors vs Hiromu Takahashi vs El Desperado –> Blake Christian vs Hiromu Takahashi vs El Desperado
MUSIC CITY MAYHEM July 30
- Clark Connors vs Davey Richards –> Rocky Romero vs Davey Richards
Connors has recently been rising through the ranks in NJPW, notably representing the promotion in the AEW All Atlantic Title bout at Forbidden Door.
He last wrestled during the July 5 New Japan Road event, teaming with The DKC & Yuji Nagata to face off against Alex Zayne & Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii.
We wish Clark Connors a safe and healthy recovery.
