NJPW President Reacts To Ricky Starks Disrespecting Jushin Thunder Liger

Last night’s AEW Collision (July 15) saw the finals of the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments.

The women’s final saw Willow Nightingale defeat the Outcasts’ Ruby Soho to become the second winner of the tournament.

Willow was presented the trophy by Tony Khan himself on the show.

The men’s final saw Ricky Starks shockingly defeat CM Punk to win the men’s tournament, doing so with his hands on the ropes.

NJPW legend Jushin Thunder Liger was on hand to deliver the trophy to Starks, who snatched the trophy from Liger’s hands and celebrated with it.

NJPW president Takami Ohbari reacted to the clip on Twitter today, simply asking Starks:

Where is your respect?

The angle and finish to the match seems to be setting up a heel run for Ricky Starks following the victory,

Last night’s Collision show also saw an epic two out of three falls AEW World Tag Team Championship match, which saw FTR retain against Bullet Club Gold.

Next week’s Collision will see the final of the AEW Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament, with MJF and Adam Cole facing Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia.
