We have our first title change of Wrestle Kingdom 14 as David Finlay and Juice Robinson have won the IWGP Tag Team Championships. The pair defeated Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa to capture the titles for the first time.
Finlay and Robinson won the World Tag League in December to earn the shot at the titles. They defeated EVIL and SANADA in the tournament finals. EVIL and SANADA had won the tournament the previous two straight years.
This was the first title match of the event. By the end of the second day, every championship in New Japan Pro Wrestling will have been defended. Odds are there will be many more articles like this on the way very soon.
