It has been confirmed that New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) will soon be announcing TV deals in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
Dave Meltzer had previously said that the promotion was close to an English-language TV deal, and a commercial ran during Wrestle Kingdom confirming it.
NJPW had a TV deal with AXS in the US in 2014-2019, but that ended when Anthem purchased AXS to broadcast IMPACT on there instead.
New Japan has not had a TV deal in the US since then.
The promotion has been running shows in the US such as NJPW Strong, but they’ve been broadcast on the promotion’s own online network New Japan World.
