Major NJPW Star On Possible Match Against WWE’s Seth Rollins WWE

Will Ospreay has discussed his previous issues with Seth Rollins, noting that he’d be interested in wrestling the WWE star.

Ospreay and Rollins notably took shots at one another on Twitter in 2019, with both believing that they were the best in the world.

In an interview with Sportkeeda’s WrestleBinge, Ospreay noted that this is all behind them now, but believes that a match with Rollins would still be interesting.

Ospreay said:

“I think it would be good to — I mean, obviously all the smoke is cleared between myself and Seth. But like, there’s always that desire or want to see two guys just beat the crap out of one another, right?

“So if Seth’s still got a bit of an issue, then I’ve got a bit of an issue. So he’s more than welcome to come over to Japan.”

Ospreay notably dropped his IWGP US Championship to AEW star Kenny Omega at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17, following their previous Twitter back-and-forth.

WWE star Karl Anderson was in action a Wrestle Kingdom 17, dropping the NEVER Openweight Title to Tama Tonga during the January 4 show.

Ospreay recently shared his thoughts on the brief working relationship between WWE and NJPW, calling Chief Content Officer Triple H a ‘G’.

WWE has had a major backstage change, with Vince McMahon officially rejoining the company’s board of directors. You can read more about this right here.
