Both semi-finals in the tournament to crown the inaugural NJPW WORLD Television Champion have now officially been set.
On tonight’s NJPW Battle Autumn show (October 30), Ren Narita scored Toru Yano with a Jumping Knee Drop in the first quarter final of the night.
In the show’s main event, SANADA defeated KENTA to advance to the semi-finals himself, with him set to collide against Narita at the November 5 NJPW Battle Autumn event.
The other semi-final will take place on the November 5 show as well, which will see EVIL take on Zack Sabre Jr. The two winners will go on to face off against each other at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4 to crown the inaugural NJPW WORLD TV Champion.
