New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) today announced the new date for the upcoming Wrestle Grand Slam show in the Tokyo Dome.
The event which was previously scheduled for May 29, will now take place on July 25, following IWGP Champion Shingo Takagi’s request for the “biggest possible stage” for his upcoming defence against Kota Ibushi.
This will be Takagi’s first ever main event in the Tokyo Dome, while Ibushi has main evented in the arena four times before in his career.
