No ‘Bad News’ for England as Stu Bennett celebrates World Cup football win

England…we’ve got some GOOD NEWS for you. Your football team finally won a World Cup penalty shoot out.

And the artist formerly known as Bad News Barrett couldn’t be happier.

Football fan Stu Bennett joined millions of English football supporters in tweeting his delight after England beat Colombia in the World Cup Round of 16.

Former WWE superstar Bennett, who UK wrestling fans will soon see return to television as part of the new ITV WOS Wrestling series, has clearly been enjoying the entire tournament and has been tweeting with regularity about the matches in Russia. Such as this tweet after the hosts upset Spain.

Stu’s friend Sheamus is also a big football fan (although his beloved Ireland didn’t qualify).
