There are reportedly no immediate creative plans for a current AEW team following recent teases of a new member joining.
In recent months, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie have formed an alliance known as the Vendetta on AEW television.
Shortly after the group formed, a vignette aired featuring Deonna Purrazzo, where she seemingly teased that another member would be joining her and Taya, though so far no new members have been added to the group.
Deonna has been absent from AEW television for a number of weeks, and there has been an update on her status.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Deonna’s college obligations have never interfered with her AEW bookings, with SNHU using the ability to graduate around a work schedule as a drawing point.
Deonna has made pitches creatively, but as of now there are no immediate creative plans for her or the Vendetta.
In regards to a potential new member being added to the group, there was said to never be an actual plan to do so, with it just being thrown out to add intrigue.
CMLL recently had Lady Frost teaming up with Taya instead of Deonna, so she has also not had bookings there as of late, and Fightful hasn’t heard of any plans within CMLL to use her imminently.
