While WrestleMania 37 will have thousands of fans in attendance, WWE is not expecting to be selling tickets to any other events until the second half of this year at the very earliest.
Speaking in today’s WWE financial call, WWE Chief Financial Officer Kristina Salen said: “[We] don’t expect any other ticketed events until the second half of 2021,” when asked about fans being able to attend shows in the future.
It was announced earlier this year that 30,000 fans will be allowed to attend each night of WrestleMania despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking about the WrestleMania announcement, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said:
“Florida is excited to welcome back WrestleMania to Tampa in April at Raymond James Stadium. Florida has continued to work with professional sports and entertainment to safely operate while generating revenue and protecting jobs. WrestleMania will bring tens of millions of dollars to the Tampa area and we look forward to hosting more sporting and entertainment events in Florida this year,”
It is understood that fans will be able to start buying tickets for WrestleMania 37 in the coming weeks, although a firm date is yet to be announced.
